Eagle Down Feather Hand-carved Rosewood Pendant Necklace
Design/Properties The eagle down feather is modelled on a real eagle's down feather. The down of birds is a layer of fine feathers found under the tougher exterior feathers. Down feathers were used by indigenous North Americans for religious ceremonies and as powerful symbols. In the stories of some cultures, the down feathers of an eagle were important gifts given by the bird to the hero. This small but powerful necklace promotes inner strength, growth and bravery.
Size This eagle down feather feather is around 2 inches (5.5 cms) from the top to bottom and 1 inch (2.5 cms) wide.
Materials The feather is hand carved from a kind of wood called Saba (reddish/brown wood). The pendant comes with 1mm premium waxed polyester cord in black. This style of feather also comes in other materials.
